Wayne, New Jersey
Substance Use Disorder: Heroin Overdose
A message from his mother: Joseph Andelora 2/6/90-12/23/12 Forever 22 Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, The laughter, The smiles, i've only gone to rest for a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief . So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I was but as I used to be. I will remember you and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts I've only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you. Joey lives on in our hearts and in our memories. Dance in the sky my precious angel! Love, Mom, Dad, Nick and Gina

Please send Eva's mother a little note, say a prayer, light a candle, or simply say her name "Eva Stephanie Anderson". Eva will ALWAYS be loved and NEVER forgotten. A Message From Mom: This is my son James Allen Atkins, we called him Jimmy and he was so loved by all he met. He was 26 when the monster called Heroin took his life. This monster took my heart as well. He was a builder and was so proud of the houses that he built. Mostly NASCAR and a few Panthers homes. He would give you the shirt off his back if you wanted it. It's been 10 long years and not a day goes by that I don't grieve for him.

Tracy Shawn Bell, 21, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. She is survived by her parents, Brock (Christine) Bell and Robin (Jack) Wright. Also surviving are Grandpa and Grandma Bell, Grandpa Don, Grandma June, and Grandpa Jack. Also, her brother, Scott, her sister, Sydney, and her step-brother Cody. And many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Moore and Grandma Boo.
We are all blessed to have had Tracy in our lives. She gave so many gifts - her charm, wit, intelligence, and humor - with all who were lucky enough to meet her. Tracy was an organ donor and on the very day she passed, two people received her healthy kidneys. And so, she keeps giving.

Bennington, Chester C.
3/201976 - 7/20/2017
Palos Verdes, California
(Singe/Songwriter)
Suicide & struggled with Substance Use Disorder
Chester Bennington, the lead singer of the rock group Linkin Park, has died. His death Thursday, July 20, 2017, was reported by multiple news sources. He was 41. The Los Angeles County coroner said Bennington died at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California. News reports have cited suicide as the cause of death. Linkin Park was one of the most successful rock groups of the early 2000s. The band’s debut album, “Hybrid Theory” (2000), sold over 11 million copies in the U.S. The follow-up albums, “Meteora” (2003) and “Minutes to Midnight” (2007), also sold multiple millions of copies. Linkin Park continued to tour and released its seventh album, “One More Light,” in May of this year.
As lead vocalist, Bennington was an integral part of the band’s sound. He often delivered passionately screamed vocals that complemented and contrasted bandmate Mike Shinoda’s hip-hop inspired vocals. The group’s sound has been described as alternative metal or rap rock, incorporating elements of heavy metal, hip-hop, and electronic music. Bennington also wrote the emotional lyrics of many of the band’s songs like “Crawling,” “Numb,” and “What I’ve Done.”
He formed another band, Dead by Sunrise, to record other songs he had written that he didn’t feel were appropriate for Linkin Park. Dead by Sunrise released an album, “Out of the Ashes,” in 2009.
A longtime fan of the group Stone Temple Pilots, he served as their lead singer from 2013 to 2015 following the dismissal of their original vocalist, Scott Weiland, who died Dec. 3, 2015.
News of Bennington’s death has shocked the music world, which is still reeling from the death by suicide of Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell in May. Bennington spoke at his funeral.
“Shocked and heartbroken, but it’s true,” Linkin Park bandmate and vocalist Mike Shinoda tweeted.
Bennington was born March 20, 1976, in Phoenix. He struggled with abuse during his childhood and teenage years. This lead to a period of heavy drug use as a teenager and young adult. Although addiction issues would crop up again later in life, he turned to music as a path out of the destructive cycle in which he found himself.
He auditioned for the band Xero in the late 1990s. After he joined, the band changed its name to Linkin Park.
Bennington is survived by his wife, Talinda Ann Bentley, and six children from two marriages.

Block, Evan Robert
8/20/1995 - 11/8/2013
Everett, Washington
Substance Use Disorder: Heroin Overdose
Mother: Tracy Pegg
Evan Robert Block passed away November 8 at his home in Everett, Washington. He was 18 years old.
Evan was born August 20, 1995. It was a time of great joy. He attended Serene Lake Elementary, Voyager Middle School, Mariner High School and most recently ACES High School, where he looked forward to graduating next June.
From the moment he could speak, Evan was making plans. As a toddler he would call his Grandma or Grandpa Block asking to spend the night... the phrase quickly became part of the family vocabulary. Often he would call to have bedtime stories read to him over the phone.
Family was important to Evan. Like many older brothers, Evan enjoyed teasing his sisters. However, as they grew up - and especially over the last four months - Evan made a conscious effort to be a kind and loving brother. He wanted to become a better role model to his sisters.
Evan loved snow boarding with his best friend David, playing basketball, football, and working out. Evan was handy at fixing things and he was a good cook. Recovery had made Evan happier these last four months and he showed it with his kindness. He helped a lot of people with their own recovery. Recently, Evan was volunteering in Edmonds serving dinner to the homeless he said enjoyed this because he felt like he was helping others. His friends have also shared that he was always smiling and encouraging them to graduate.
Evan's road was not always a smooth one but in spite of the obstacles he faced, Evan maintained his love of making plans and a positive outlook on life. Last summer, during his stay at Sundown M Ranch he was given an assignment asking him to share 10 attributes or characteristics which he felt would best describe him. The list below is what he shared - he kept this in his room after he came home. For those who knew him best, these ten words accurately and eloquently depict Evan's personality and spirit.
1. Intelligent 6. Sincere
2. Loving 7. Outgoing
3. Caring 8. Positive Attitude
4. Open-Minded 9. Observant
5. Willing 10. Patient
Sincere thanks to family, friends, classmates, teachers and school administrators who have offered their love and support during this difficult time. Evan's death at such a young age is a tragedy, yet his memory will resonate with us forever.

MICHAEL "MIKEY" BRENNAN, went to be with the Lord. Beloved son of Vicki Wood (Bill) and Michael Brennan (Rhonda). Dear brother of Jamie, Dustin, Lindsay, Matthew, Jessica and the late Glenn. Loving grandson of Robert and Robin Brennan and the late Norman and Mary Ann Gutschmidt and the late Rosemary Wood (Bill Grant). Nephew of many. Mikey was a beautiful soul, a caring person who touched many people's lives. A talented artist and writer who made people laugh. "Mikey" struggled with heroin. He robbed a Papa John's with a fake gun and to $89 then was chased down by the police. When the car crashed - 4 officers shot and killed "Mikey" However, this incident does not define "Mikey" He was a great person and loved by many who suffered from a disease of addiction.A Poem from "Mikey" to his mom:"To the woman who birthed and raised me, I love you with all that I am worth. Your love and your words will always go beyond the stars of time and memory, beyond the known cosmos, up and above the heavens and back down to reality. Your love is a steadfast rainbow and I will always remain anchored to your undying love...I miss you so much..I love you...I need you"
"Mikey" may be gone but NEVER forgotten!
